Holy Week Virtual Services

posted Apr 7, 2020, 3:45 PM by Web Admin

We are looking forward to our Holy Week Services even though we will be meeting virtually.

We will have Lenten Moment, Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Maundy Thursday Service will be at 6:30 p.m. as well.  We will be sharing in the Eucharist virtually for the first time.  Please make this moment a very quiet time in your households. Have bread and juice available to have for yourselves or to serve each other as a family.  This can be a very meaningful time as the symbols of the Eucharist and the presence of Christ have no limitations.

Good Friday service, Tennebrae will be held at 6:30 p.m as well.

All of our services will be streamed on Zoom as well as Facebook.  Watch for bulletins to be posted.

We might not be able to physically be together right now, but we CAN be the church!  Pray for each other and care for each other as we navigate these uncharted paths together.

!!! Online Services

Covid19 is altering our daily lives and interactions.  Please be praying for and reaching out to each other during these times that we are unable to physically meet.

We are planning to stream services live on our church's Facebook page on Sunday at 11:00.  Stephen has been sending out emails regularly.  We will do our best to be faithful to our regular liturgy.  You will receive the hymns we will be singing so you can join in your homes and blend your voices together from afar.

Be strong and faithful in this trying time.  Pray for those across the land who are suffering.

Books for StewPot

posted Mar 2, 2014, 6:02 PM by Web Admin

One of our members is working on a service project to collect paperback books to provide free books to the diners at StewPot. These will be books they can take with them. There's no expectation of return, but they can bring them back if they want, or share with others along the way.

We are looking for books of all kinds:  Novels.  Action.  Adventure.  Suspense.  Fantasy.  Science fiction.  Good Reads.
The idea is to have easily portable material.
Do you have paperbacks you could donate to the project?  If so, there will be a book deposit in the narthex.
Every book will help.
